Behind the Scenes: The Making of The Flintstones for Our YouTube Channel

The Flintstones

is a made-for-TV cartoon that William Hanna and Joseph Barbera produced for their company, Hanna-Barbera. It ran from 1960 to 1966, with a total of 166 episodes airing on ABC. Each episode, set in the town of Bedrock, followed prehistoric family, the Flintstones, and theirs neighbors, the Rubbles, in which, most episodes had Fred coming up with a scheme with his pal and neighbor, Barney, which may lead them or their wives in trouble
.

When we started creating characters for our YouTube channel, the entire cast, besides Fred's boss, Mr. Stale, were in the first lineup we did for modeling, we made them as they were part of HB's history, I did modeling work for some parts of the characters, such as the newer heads for Fred and Barney, Barney's torso and Mr. Stale.

The first Flintstones story we produced for the channel, titled "Good Ol' Bedrock," which wasn't written by me. The plot followed the Flintstones and Rubbles hanging out at "good ol' Bedrock." The second story, titled "Fred's Really Sneaky Trick," which again, wasn't written by me, involved Fred trying a really sneaky trick on Wilma to try and get out of working, but having no such luck. In the final story, "Meet My Pet, Dino," which I also didn't write, had Fred introducing his pet Dino to the viewers.

We are still in the process of writing more Flintstones stories, as well as other Hanna-Barbera stories that you may see in the future. However, we haven't written a Flintstones story in a while as of 2023, but I hope we can create more in the near future.
