Snagglepuss is a made-for-TV cartoon that William Hanna and Joseph Barbera produced for their company, Hanna-Barbera. It ran from 1961 to 1962 as a segment under The Yogi Bear Show, with a total of 32 episodes airing in syndication. Each episode followed the ongoing adventures of wanta be actor, but also cowardly lion, Snagglepuss, as he goes on many journeys, weather it be wanting to become a stage show actor, or outwitting the hunter, Major Minor.
When we started creating characters for our YouTube channel, Snagglepuss was in the first lineup we did for modeling, Major was included in a later lineup, we made them as they were part of HB's history, The only modeling work I did for the characters Snagglepuss's head.
The first Snagglepuss story we produced for the channel, titled "A Famous Lion," which wasn't written by me. We do in fact still have the original storyboard I believe. The plot followed Snagglepuss putting on a show for the audience by acting like a superhero. The second story, titled "A Magic Trick Lion," which I also didn't write, involved Snagglepuss doing a magic trick for the audience. In the final story, "The Talent of Two," which I also didn't write, had Snagglepuss teaming up with another performer on stage.
We are still in the process of writing more Snagglepuss stories, as well as other Hanna-Barbera stories that you may see in the future. However, we haven't written a Snagglepuss story in a while as of 2023, but I hope we can create more in the near future.
